I'm fighting with all my might to get my school-work done before the Thanksgiving break (next week! aaaah!). I keep getting distracted by PhotoShop, though... must... play...
I just read the MT Maigetsu description XD That's epic, guys.
Okay people, after three years we're about to have a face-lift around here! It should be up and running before the end of the month, so I hope you are excited :)
Thanks for the invitation, Raven! ^_^ I'll go ahead and join, but just to warn you I won't be very active for a few weeks since my college finals are right around the corner. I'll try to comment when I can though :)
I should have my wallpaper in later today. It's not quite were I want it, but I will be out all day tomorrow so I have to get it in today -_-
Everyone keeps saying the site loads faster, but it loads considerably slower for me o_o
Cold? It's disgustingly hot where I live T-T I wants cold...
I've wanted to get in to 3D modeling for so long, I hate that I'm taking it so late ;-; It's a shame to have teachers that don't know what they're talking about. I had problems with that at the Junior College I went to, but ever since I started going to this University it's been much better. My only complaint is that a lot of classes are generally only offered once a day in one time slot, so it's a pain trying to get all of the classes I need. >_<
It is a fun class. The teacher is very relaxed and it helps that he clearly enjoys the subject he's teaching :D I want to learn 3D modeling sooo badly, but I can't take the class for it until the spring semester T-T
*eats cookie to make self feel better*
We're actually not covering every feature, because there's no way to squeeze all of that in to a semester XD But my teacher encourages everyone to play with it on their own and explore all of the features, which is how I taught myself Photoshop anyways. And since I needed another computer-based art credit I thought I'd take Graphic Design.
*crosses fingers* Here's hoping I get into 3D modeling next semester! :D
*applauds the amazing cookie* That's awesome! Hmm... I wonder if I can get my sister to make snickerdoodles... MM.... cookie.
Graphic Design is interesting. The entire class is based in Adobe Illustrator, so it's helping me better learn the program. Tomorrow I have to design a label for a bottle that I picked up at the store :)
I'm loving Ceramics & Graphic Design, but my Modern Art history class bores me to death. The teacher is nice, but the textbooks get so abstract in talking about abstraction that you eventually reach a level where you question what it means to exist. Or something. My Chaucer/Canterbury Tales class is alright.
Au revoir, Yamibou. Au revoir :D
@aneznam: I totally want a clone to go to school for me! Well, not Ceramics because I've developed a love for clay... but it can take notes and go to tests for me XD And I'm getting strange ideas from all this reading I'm doing about abstract art and "pure abstraction"... I don't mind abstract art, but I hate the way the text book feels the need to be so wordy and otherworldly about it.
@Yamibou: What if I train it to stop being confusing and to act like me?
Time seems to flow faster the older I get. I remember thinking how long the day was in junior high, but now that I'm college I feel like there are less hours in the day. It's frustrating.
So what you're saying, Yamibou, is that if we play in the space/time continuum we can make clones... and then they can be busy for us? :D I wonder if I would have to feed it, or if the other me would be a paradox that exist as me and yet isn't.

Welcome to the group, Omone! ^-^
I just wish college wasn't sucking my life away ;-; I want more free-time, too. I can't believe how quickly life seems to be flying by now
Hey, I think it might be a good idea if the entries for last year's contest came down... They've been there a long time, and since we have to other one running it looks kind of confusing.
@Dementia: I'll probably find it easier the more I work on it. My problem is that I learned the pen tool in Photoshop first, so I keep trying to use PS shortcuts with it that don't do the same things. I intend to practice though :)
This is one of the few shows I obsess over enough to join a group dedicated to it (I love it so!). I hope you don't mind if I join! ^^
I'm actually taking a class on illustrator this semester, which is part of why I'm so busy. I keep trying to use the pen tool like I do in Photoshop which isn't a good idea o_o;
I don't have any at home either, and I can't afford any right now ;-;
I keep forgetting, we've added a new bird to the family, her name is Da Jiao : ) She's a cutie.
