Anyone know the coding for changing the properties of the lines in the sidebar? (the ones below things like Joined Groups or the anime watchlist).

    I may be a purple hippopotamus, but I wouldn't mind a banner contest :)

I will absolutely help! I was actually thinking about that earlier this week. This was one of the first groups I joined here, and it's sad to see it in this condition ;-; Phamthuha hasn't even signed in for several years. I'm pretty active and keep up with things here.

I will try to finish my Modern Art midterm and be a good student.

Maybe it's just me, but CLAMP's approach seems rather hypocritical considering their roots came from making doujinshi. But then pride comes before a fall, so I won't be surprised to see some falling dominoes soon, especially considering popularity wasn't enough to get an ending to X1999 (the manga).

Go with Fireflywishes advice. I've found that approach has helped me, and it doesn't involve being a jerk, like some have suggested.

I love sooooooo many, but I think my top 3 are The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, and Beauty and the Beast. I always liked the fact that they gave the little mermaid a happy ending to contrast the original story, which was tragically beautiful, but I'm glad to see it end on a lighter note as well :) It's very rare that I don't like the ones that go to the theaters (the only ones coming to mind being Atlantis and Pinocchio, the latetr really only because I never liked the story of Pinocchio to begin with).

I'm having the exact same problem. I didn't even know that clicking the blue area would check them until I read your post just now.

Thank you so much, MapleRose! This is extremely helpful! ^_^

Thanks for the codes! Those are extremely helpful :)

I know very little about CSS, so I'm sorry if I ask stupid things. Anyways, I noticed that my menu bar doesn't tile all the way to the end of the page where my username is, instead it stops right before the number of notes. Is there any way to make it stretch farther?

My next question: is there any way at all to make the top image longer?

For me, I have to clear my cache TWICE (hit F5 button on keyboard) in order for it to show the changes that I have made. If it doesn't show after clearing your cache just once, try again a few times before you give up on it.

To be honest, I really, really didn't like the layout when I first saw it. But I spent a nice chunk of today playing with it and now I've become rather fond of it as a whole. I don't think the new one is as easy to customize if you know nothing about CSS, but I'm willing to learn and have fun with the site as it is now. I do miss the look of making transparent tables (I don't know if you can do that or not with CSS, I know very little about it), but I've already figured out how to make the top image on my userpage taller, so that's a definite plus.

Maybe you guys will never end up liking it, and that's your feelings in the end, but I really think you should give it some time and play around with it. Who knows, you might warm up to it : )

Tsubasa is really the only series that I found to really be confusing. A lot of CLAMP's stories have deep concepts behind them but are presented in a more orderly manner. Stories like Magic Knight Rayearth and CardCaptor Sakura have deep concepts within them, but you don't really get lost trying to understand what the heck is going on, right? It's fairly simple with ideals that are laced in to them.

My problem with Tsubasa is that I personally feel they tried to throw too much together at one time. At the beginning the story itself felt smooth and was gradually bringing forth different ideas in to the storyline for the reader to think about, but once they reached Tokyo arc it felt like all hell broke loose for the characters and the reader. Rather than bombarding the audience with so many different things they should have found a few and delved deeper in to those in particular.

But that's just how I feel. I've loved CLAMP up until this point, but if I hadn't started reading Tsubasa at the beginning and just started, I would have never bought this series for the reasons I stated, plus it's so dang long. X_x My wallet hurts, but if i don't finish the series my brain will eat itself.
